I have a rare condition where I have a severe allergic reaction when my body temperature rises suddenly through exertion or stepping into a warmer environment. I had to go to the emergency room a few times when my throat started swelling shut so they gave me disability parking. I have to carefully regulate my activities and my environment, but I don't look any different then anyone else. Now I am going to college, I drive the Z and I am 25, so I receive a lot of negative attention for it. People constantly yell at me walking by, in cars and out building windows. They tell me I am going to get fined, ask me if I know its a handicap spot, give me dirty looks, and threaten to kick my ass. I had one person say to me “You don't look handicap, if you don't get the f#ck out of here I am going to kick your ass and make you handicap for real” I've seen a lot of people in this thread admit they get agitated by people who park in the spots but look healthy. Please remember guys, you don't have to look handicap to be handicap.
